We can connect to your existing drain tile, interior or exterior. Connecting to the drain tile, means any water that protrudes into the area-well will be directed away; keeping your basement dry. If new drain tile is needed, we can take care of that too.

Although, there will always be some dust, we take precautions to limit and contain the dust created during demolition while cutting through concrete and any other wall cover. We only cut concrete outside. Inside we use a hammer-drill and electric chisel. All interior work contained inside a “dust tent” with an exhaust fan if needed. Runners are laid in place to protect carpet floors and stairs. Everything around the work area is vacuumed and wiped down.
We buck frame the new larger opening with pressure treated lumber. once the buck frame is checked to be square, level and plumb, it's secured in place using concrete nails, screws and glue. We then foam insulate around the perimeter of the frame and window to keep out air and moisture.
The window is installed according to the manufacturers instructions. It is then flashed to correctly shed water. The exterior side is trimmed with a maintenance-free white vinyl material engineered to resist expansion and contraction. The vinyl material is fire retardant and protected against rot and termites. It also resists dirt marks and is very easy to clean.
We anchor the area-well directly to your foundation with masonry anchors to ensure the area-well does not shift or cave due to ground force. This is a common issue if installed incorrectly. We backfill evenly to ensure a proper position and tamp the backfill to limit the amount of future settling.
